The Société des Auteurs et Compositeurs Dramatiques collects and distributes royalties on behalf of audiovisual creators in France.

Recognised by the state, the SACD has been protecting authors’ rights since 1777.

Platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok) pay royalties to the SACD for every piece of content streamed.

Creators register their works each year in order to receive their royalties.
